200million Euro Golf Course To Emerge At Bulgarias Coast

Local company Kabland will invest 194.43 million euro for the construction of a year-round first-class golf and entertainment complex near the town of Kableshkovo, in the coastal municipality of Pomorie.

The first sod of the complex, Black Sea Golf and Country Club, would be turned on October 24 2007, Monitor daily reported.

The club will have buildings for seasonal and contemporary stay and will spread on more than 1.9 million sq m.

Its will also have a golf course with 18 holes, according to international standards, a four or five-star hotel of 200 rooms, golf and tennis academies, swimming pools, villas, spa and sports centres, shops and restaurants.

Black Sea Golf and Country Club wants to attract exacting and wealthy tourists and will compete famous golf destinations such as Portugal and Spain.

Kabland promised to construct public infrastructure in the region. The company will build a purifying station, electric sub-station and internal road system, and modernise external roads. The total cost of the infrastructure to be built exceeds 19 million euro.

Kabland is a mixed company of NGB Consulting, which owns 80 per cent, and Pomorie municipality, with 20 per cent.
