The village is located in South-East Bulgaria. It is part of Pomorie Municipality, Bourgas District.

The climate is characterized by mild winters, long autumns and moderately high summer temperatures. The hottest months are June and July. Pomorie`s beach strip is unique because of its fine black sand typical for this region only. The seabed along the coastal strip is slanting and almost even.
The distance to capital city Sofia is around 350 km; 6 km to Pomorie (town and beach resort), 12 km to Burgas and 7 km to the Burgas International Airport.

The town of Pomorie is situated on a narrow peninsula, 3.5 km into the Black Sea and 20 km from Bourgas. Pomorie is famous for its mud therapy, known since Thracian times. The resort curative mud, extracted from the salty lake, is among the best in the world. The fine sand of the beaches, the warm and clear seawater and the great number of sunny days, makes Pomorie an attractive place for tourists.
