Property prices rise in Sofia in the first quarter of the year, reported by real estate agencies. The property market is on an ascending cycle and the price increase is now approaching 20% ​​on an annual basis. This trend is expected to last for at least another two years. The data shows that for the first quarter of 2017 the average price of the sold apartments in Sofia is 985 EUR/sq m. The average purchase price of the dwellings is around 90,000 euros.

At the beginning of 2016, the dwellings in Sofia were sold at an average of 835 euros per sq m. There was an increase to about 1000 euro per sq m later in the year. At present, property prices in Sofia are at levels similar to those at the end of 2007. New construction

Two-room apartments have regained their attractiveness, which can be explained by their greater liquidity and easy rental, as well as by rising prices. The main interest continues to be to the southern and eastern districts of Sofia, with the presence of a metro playing an increasingly important role in the interest in a given area. There is also interest in the center of the city, where there is predominantly the supply of old construction, but there are also boutique buildings with one or two apartments on a floor that are of great interest. In the broad center are formed areas with predominantly new construction, which have a completely changed appearance, have access to the metro and which are becoming more and more attractive for the buyers.

The interest in "Krastova Vada" is kept high and the trend is to be one of the most preferred areas of Sofia. Beginning new projects and visibly improved infrastructure turn the minds even of skeptical buyers. The prices of new homes there start at around 850 euros per square meter and reach 1,200 euros per sq m.

Mladost and the Business Park Sofia area are another attraction for both- those working there and the buyers who want to live in one of the most fashionable neighborhoods of Sofia. There the average price is already around 1000 euro per square meter.

The areas around the South Park remain high and low supply, which results in higher prices - between 1100 and 1400 euros per sq m. Manastirski Livadi, Vitosha and Studentski Grad are among the regions offering new construction Profitable prices and to which the interest is constantly increasing.
