Prices of properties in Bulgaria are rising twice as fast comparing to the rest of the EU

In the fourth quarter of the year the growth in Bulgaria was 8.1%
Property in Bulgaria is among the fastest rising price wise in 2016, according to Eurostat data. In the fourth quarter house prices jumped 8.1% yoy. With this percentage, our country ranks among the top 10 countries in the European Union.


The increase in Bulgaria is twice as high as the EU average - 4.7%. Only in the Czech Republic, Latvia, Lithuania, Hungary, Malta and Slovakia.


Published data also show that housing prices in Iceland (13.6%) and Norway (11.6%), which are not EU members but are part of the European Economic Area, have risen steadily for one year.
