The Pioneer Resort will be situated at the base of the beautiful Pirin Mountain, 1 kilometer away from one of the region's 7* golf courses.The ski lifts are approximately 4 KM away and there are year round on-site shuttles available to take you to and from the resort of Bansko and other areas of natural beauty in the region.The actual site of the resort was the original Pioneer (Scouts) base for the region. We chose this unique location for its ideal position as a base to enjoy trekking, skiing, mountain biking and golf holidays. The plan is to try to regenerate some of the old Pioneer spirit which abounded some years ago. In keeping with this desire, the owners will have a theme bar containing original Pioneer equipment.The location is positioned well within the tree line so over 50% of the trees are to be kept to give the site a feeling of being well established. This effort is very much in line with the philosophy of the developer to observe the area's natural beauty. In addition, it is in line with the Razlog Development Plan. The resort will also boast a world-class Spa and Fitness Centre.In addition you will find a boutique hotel within the gates of the resort. The Pioneer Hotel will offer the individual purchasers of the apartments a revenue generating option should they want to sublet their apartments back to the hotel.

Bansko today
Bansko, once mainly a stockbreeding and travelling merchant community, has nowadays become a center of winter and summer tourism. The mountain peaks near the town, the numerous lakes and the old pine woods make it a popular site for recreation. In recent years, the town has gained international popularity after the start of the annual Bansko Jazz Festival and consequently the annual Bansko pop-star concert featuring top pop stars. The nearby village of Banya, located only 5 km from the town, is known for its 27 thermal mineral springs.A new gondola lift was built in 2003 to replace a minibus ride up to the ski slopes of Todorka. Several other gondolas and ski lifts are in the process of being built. These developments, along with the construction of extensive housing and recreational facilities around the gondola (which is on the southwest end of the town by the river), have made Bansko a popular and growing destination.The town is served by a scenic narrow gauge railway from Septemvri to Dobrinishte.
