How many properties have been sold in the ten largest cities in the country

In the third quarter of 2012 in the country 58,643 bargains for real estate properties are concluded, according to the Registry Agency.

As a comparison a year earlier transactions were 54,997. Now we can see growth of 6.63 %.

The number of transactions is the highest for the last four quarters, but despite this for the first nine months we can observe decrease with 5.65 % over the period 1 January - 30 September 2011.

Transactions for our ten largest cities (by population) are 18,751. This constitutes 31.97% of the total number of transactions which is 34.52 % for the quarter earlier.

Sofia and Plovdiv again occupy the first two places in registered transactions as in the previous two quarters of this year. In the capital 4,210 properties were bought / sold and for the other two largest cities they are respectively 3035 and 2535.

For the second consecutive quarter, the statistics reported strong growth in sales of real estate in Pleven, occupying the fourth position among the ten largest cities in the country.

However, considering the data, it is clear that the total transactions in Nessebar are 2489 , which puts the sea resorts even before Varna.

With over 1000 transactions for this quarter are Ruse, Burgas, Stara Zagora, Pazardjik, Yambol, Dobrich and on the top are still Veliko Tarnovo, Vidin and Sliven.

The fourth quarter is traditionally a strong period for the real estate market in our country, statistics show that last year 65,460 transactions were made. An year earlier they were around 61,541.
