The hotels in Pamporovo are 100% full for the 8th of december
For the students celebration on the 8th of december the hotel complexes and aparthotels in Pamporovo will be 100% occupied, announced in Smolyan, Paunteli Memtsov, chairman of the regional tourist asociation - "Rhodopi"
The prices are different depending on the category of the hotel complex and the duration of stay of the guests. Speaking in general 2 nights with the official celebration dinner cost arround 75 to 105 levs per person, in this package some of the hotels offer swimming pool and fitness. In comparission with the last year the prices for the students' celebration are with about 5 - 8% lower. The lifts will be working for the 8th of december. It is quite normal that the resort is full for the studens' celebration in Bulgaria.
Acording to the words of Memtsov the hotel owners expect a good tourist season this winter.
We started the marketing strategy from March this year, considering the the last season was very slow because of many reasons, but the major one is the world financial and economic crisis, our tourists are mainly from west europe, mostly from the England and Ireland. He explained that everything possible was done in order to activate the possitions of Pamporovo as a ski tourist destinations for the Balkan countries.
This is the direction in whcih we concentrate our efforts considering that from the 1st of January tourists from Macedonia and Serbia will be able to visit Bulgaria without visa.
According to the words of Mr. Memtsov during the summer of 2009, additional investments have been made for the system for artifical snow, which will supply snow for 95% of the pistes in the ski resort of Pamporovo.
