Russians represent 90 percent of investors in Bulgarian real estate market

Ninety percent of investors in the Bulgarian vacation properties are Russians, investor.bg reported. The main part of real estate “for sale” are situated in the summer resorts because Russians know Bulgaria as summer tourism destination.

Russian investors are interested in properties closer to the sea with a panoramic view, president of The International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI)-Bulgaria Antonia Wirth said. Poor infrastructure is among major Bulgarian issues.

Bulgaria competes with Spain and Montenegro for Russian buyers.
