Irish company is buying the phone headquarter in Sofia for 22.5 million euro

The Irish group of companies for property investments - West Incorporated signed a contract for buying a building of the phone company headquarter in the center of Sofia, announced from the company. The deal is for 22.5 million euro, the planned investments in the project will surpass 100 million euro.

The building on the Gurko str. #2-4 in Sofia is the first phone headquarter in the country. It has 6 floors spreaded on total area of 17 401 square meters and is considered for one of the emblematic buildings in the capital.

At this stage from the West Incorporated company do not want to reveal the future purpose of the building, the company is working with a team of specialists which for six months already is researching the opportunities to turn the building into an unique cultural and social center.

Bryan Coneely, owner and CEO of West Incorporated is certain that the name and the facade of the telephone central will remain unchanged.

The telephone headquarter in Sofia is the most expensive property owned by BTC which is offered for sale. The company joined its brands vivatel and Btc under one name - Vivacom in 2009. The share of the properties offered for sale by the company is 80% of all properties owned by vivacom which are about 3000 in all regions of Bulgaria. The company rented about 23 000 square meters office areas in the project European Trade center on the Tsarigradsko Shousse, the main purpose is to join its offices in the capital in one place.

During 2008 the company announced its plans to develop 5 start boutique hotel complex in the Arapia area, near Tsarevo on the Black sea coast. Earlier during the same year West Properties International, part of West Incorporated announced that it has a long term investment interest in the Bulgarian property market, and in the next 10 years is planning to invest more than 500 million euro in Bulgaria.
