Bulgaria Still In Top 10 Of The German Tourists 17/04/2008
Bulgaria is the only Eastern European country entered in the classification for preferred by the Germans tourism destinations. Their favorites are Spain and Mallorca. This was announced in the analyze agency ‘GIATA-Ranking', informed from local Union of Investors in Tourism. According to the agency Bulgaria ranks 9th. Bulgaria has improved its factor from 1.7 to 2.2 compared to March 2007. Turkey and Greece are first in the classification followed by Egypt, Germany, Italy, Tunis and Thailand. For first time the competent tour operator ‘Dertour' published huge independent catalogue for knowledge traveling from Bulgaria and Romania. Foros Sofia Retail Rents Up 24 In 2007 04/04/2008
Retail space rentals in Sofia rose by 24 per cent last year, according to the latest Foros real estate company report, released on April 3. Rent prices in the capital fluctuated between 40 and 130 euro a sq m in 2007 and rents in shopping centres – between 30 and 60 euro, according to the market survey. Average rent prices in Plovdiv varied from 30 to 80 euro a sq m and in Varna – from 20 to 90 euro. Rents in Bourgas ranged from 25 to 55 euro a sq m and in Rousse – between 8 and 30 euro. Commercial sector marked dynamic growth last year, attracting large international investors, as well as local funds. Poligraphic Services Buildings In Sofia To Become Class A Offices 24/04/2008
Bulgarian Land Development (BLD) fund, registered at the London stock exchange, announced the purchase of five buildings from Dimitar Blagoev Printing House in Sofia. The buyer, a joint venture between BLD and private investor Norhtridge Capital, acquired a gross actual area of 29 000 sq m, Investor.bg said. The buildings were part of an eight-building industrial complex along Tsarigradsko Shose in central Sofia, which once housed the state printing house. BLD and Northridge Capital announced that the buildings would be turned into 23 500 sq m of class A office space and 3 500 sq m trade floor, with 241 parking places, of which 183 would be underground.
