The house is located in the beautiful mountain town of Smolyan. The building presents itself a cultural monument of local importance. It was originally built around 1908 in a traditional Revival style, and was subsequently extensively restored in 1982. It was used as a restaurant from the mid-1980s until around 2003 (it has official documents for being used as a restaurant).

The size of the entire parcel is 160 sq m. The built area of the house is 67 sq m, and the total living area of the building is 207 sq m (3 floors). The house also has a utility room with an area of 19 sq m and a separate entrance. The utility room houses the boiler for the heating system. The total living space (House + utility room) is 226 sq.m.

The house has three floors with the following layout inside:

• First floor - an entrance hall, three bathrooms and a storage room.
• Second floor - a kitchen and two rooms (one of which is transitional). The larger room has a working fireplace with a stove.
• Third floor there are three bedrooms and a spacious entrance hall. The larger bedroom has a fireplace, which still kept its aesthetic look.

The first two floors of the house have their original stone walls from their construction (thickness of about 50 cm). The third floor was built with brick walls during the restoration and plastered with mortar and lime to preserve the authentic style.

The finishing works in the house are executed with traditional materials - wooden railings, paneling, wood carvings, stone and tiles. The joinery is wooden, double-winged with external wooden bars.
