This is a lovely old rural house located in a quiet and peaceful village very close to the town of Smolyan and the famous winter ski resort Pamporovo. The settlement is near the Greece border. It is situated on a main road and soon through the village will pass the main road to Greece which will guarantee easy access all year around. The distance to the town and ski resort of Smolyan is 5 km. Pamporovo ski resort where you can go skiing and snowboarding is only 18 km away. The settlement is part of the Smolyan Municipality and is located in the Arda valley of the Rhodopi Mountain. The region is very sunny, and the village is near the top of a southern slope so it receives direct sun more then 300 days per year. It has 4 seasons, snowing winters and warm summers. The village has a strong ethic and emphasizing education, and has generated many renowned artists, writers and professional judges. There is incredible number of retired artists here. The original architects of the village created interesting, well sited houses, which have been well preserved. The population is over 180 people. This number increases when children come to their grandparent's houses for the summer holidays. There is also an almost unique day of return in the village, where every home has a family re-union at the same time and the whole village throws a party. Every home is full, couches and spare rooms are all booked, as all the children return and strike up old friendships. The town of Smolyan is very near to the village, it is very well developed with good infrastructure.
